Here is the latest update posted on Setpember 7th from the Vermont tourist Board:
"We've had a week or more of fine weather, some leaves are showing signs of color here in the extreme northeastern part of the state. This area is where the fall colors first appear. Things are looking good. We are just hoping no hurricane produces big winds, so you might want to keep a watch on what is going on in the Atlantic! Cold nights have started!"

Here is the latest information posted for Vermont Fall foliage.
"Signs of the coming foliage color is already here in northeastern Vermont. Some trees are already showing some color. Sunlight is becoming more etched, a sign that the sun's direction on the horizon is lower than full summer. Cold nights have started and there could be some frost this week. We will keep you posted!"
